After we clean the blade, the Akemat automatically grinds the carbide tips at the correct angle, under a cooling lubricant bath, to produce a sharp clean cutting blade. This Akemat can handle blades from 4" - 33" in diameter.

Knives are magnetically held at the precise angle and ground with coolant to prevent burning. At the same time, the knives are ground to a constant width so that they can be simply dropped into your planar and all will be the same height without adjustment.

Our Drill Pointer worked on these bits one day. The small bit is a standard 1/4" bit and the large one was one we made for a local industrial plant.
